Appointment Opportunities - Expiring appointments to Boards, Commissions, & Committees

If you or someone you know would be interested in serving on one of these it is recommended you send an Application to Serve (PDF) to the Office of the Board of Supervisors at least two weeks before the indicated expiration date. (You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view/print the application.)
To have an application mailed or faxed to you, call the Office of the Board of Supervisors at 253-6609.
- Applications are accepted at any time for any committee and are kept on file for two years.
- When a vacancy occurs on any of the committees, the Secretary to the Board then forwards the application information for that specific committee to the Board of Supervisors for consideration.
- Interviews are not held.
Following an appointment/reappointment to a committee, the individual is notified in writing of the appointment/reappointment, along with the length of term, expiration date, and staff contact name for the committee.
