2009 CCCJB quarterly Meeting Schedule
* March 2, 2009, was changed to March 23, 2009, with a starting time of 7:00 p.m., due to inclement weather and was held at the JCC Human Services Building on Olde Town Road in Williamsburg, VA. The guest speaker was Thomas von Hermert, CJP and CIT Coordinator for Thomas Jefferson Area Community Criminal Justice Board who presented on CIT (Crisis Intervention Teams).
*June 1, 2009 - CCCJB meeting began at 6:30 p.m., and was held at the James City County Williamsburg Community Center in Williamsburg, Va. The evening agenda was focused on but not limited to the May 2009 Cross Systems Mapping/Sequential Intercept Module Event, Greater Williamsburg Area CIT Update and the 2010/2011 Criminal Justice Plan.
*September 14, 2009 - CCCJB meeting has been changed to October 2, 2009 - CCCJB ½-day Retreat which will focus on the members of the board, momentum of the board, committees, and the Criminal Justice Plan. The ½-day Retreat will be sponsored by the New Kent County Sheriffs Office.
*December 7, 2009 - The 6:30 p.m., CCCJB meeting will take place at Dream Catchers, the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center which provides therapeutic riding and other horse related activities to special needs individuals in a caring and safe environment. Dream Catchers is located at 10120 Fire Tower Road, Toano, VA, 23168. The agenda will consist of but not limited to a facility tour of Dream Catchers, an overview of Dream Catchers by Executive Director, Nancy Paschall and CCCJB Chair and Vice Chair Elections.

Elections 2008
Elections for Chair and Vice Chair positions were held at the December 1, 2008, quarterly meeting. Jimmy Burrell from New Kent County was re-elected Chair, and John Kuplinski, Jail Administrator for the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail, was re-elected Vice-Chair. Both will serve a one-year term.
