Olde Towne Medical Center
Olde Towne Medical Center is a Rural Health Center, established in 1993, that operates as a safety-net medical/dental provider. At the heart of the Center's mission is the provision of preventive care and early intervention services to a vulnerable population. Primary and preventive health care services provided are: physical examinations with early screening for health and developmental problems, immunizations, dental care, gynecological care, pre-natal care, education and family support, information about and referral to community resources and medical specialists, and case management services. A medical director, nurse practitioners, nurses and nursing assistants, dental hygienists and dental assistants, clerical support staff, administrative staff, part-time physicians and dentists, and many volunteers provide care. Each month, an average of 75 volunteer physicians and dentists, dental assistants, clerical workers, students, and medical specialists who see OTMC patients in their offices provide an average of
600 hours of service.
Olde Towne Medical Center Medical Clinic
The medical clinic accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and FAMIS. Uninsured patients pay based on OTMC’s sliding fee scale. To make an appointment, please call: 259-3258.
Olde Towne Medical Center Dental Clinic
The dental clinic accepts Medicare and Medicaid, and FAMIS “Smiles for Children”. Uninsured patients pay based on OTMC’s sliding fee scale. To make an appointment, please call: 259-3255.
Walk-in Immunization Clinic
Childhood and Adult Immunizations are available EVERY Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Immunizations are also available by appointment during regular clinical hours.
Help with Prescription Costs
The Greater Williamsburg Medication Access Program helps OTMC obtain medications directly from pharmaceutical companies for those who qualify. This service is for both OTMC patients and patients of prescribing physicians in our service area. Please call: 259-3256 for the Medication Access Program.

Tuesday: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

OTMC receives support from the local governments: James City County, the City of Williamsburg, and York County. Further funding comes through donations from individuals, grants and donations from numerous organizations and foundations, as well as third party fundraising, special events, and sliding scale patient payments.
