Boards Messages and Events Effective October 24: Please note that before accepting applications for Land Disturbing Permits, County staff will verify that all real estate taxes owed for the subject properties have been paid in full in accordance with Section 24-24. The certification can be completed by staff while you wait. If it is found that real estate taxes have not been paid, the application will not be accepted. If you are unsure if your payments are up-to-date, please contact the County Treasurer at 757-253-6705. If you have questions about this requirement, please contact our office at 757-253-6670.

From I-64, take Exit 242A which leads to Route 199 West. Proceed on 199 West approximately two miles to the first stoplight. Turn left at the light onto Mounts Bay Road. Proceed on Mounts Bay about 200 yards and take the first right-hand turn. This is the entrance to the James City County Government Center. The Engineering and Resource Protection Division is in Building E. |
