Facts to know about Roads and Power:

 

Road closings and fallen trees

 

VDOT is responsible for roads in James City County and should be notified if a roadway is blocked by flood waters or trees. VDOT can also help with culvert cleaning, pothole patching, water drainage, guard rail replacement, bridge work, signs, traffic lights, animal, and tree or trash removal.

Power Outages and Restoration

 

Virginia Dominion Power is responsible for downed power lines and restoration of electricity. Call 1-888-667-3000  Hours: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., M-F, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat. Use this number for customer service, to report power outages or downed power lines, or to make other inquiries.
