Fire Marshals

The Fire Marshals Section is responsible for enforcement of applicable state and local codes dealing with Fire Inspections, Fire Safety, and Fire Investigations. The office issues burn permits and fireworks permits. This office also conducts background investigations for all fire department applicants and investigates the origin and cause of fires. Fire Marshals also are responsible for investigation of bomb threats and situations involving explosives. The Fire Marshals Section is under the direction of Captain John Black.
