County Administrator
Our County Administrator, Sanford B. Wanner, was appointed by, and serves at the pleasure of, the Board of Supervisors. As the Chief Executive Officer of the County, he is responsible for developing the annual budget and carrying out policies and laws which are reviewed and approved by the Board. He directs business and administrative policies and recommends to the Board those methods, procedures, and policies which will properly govern the County.
The Strategic Management Plan was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on June 24, 1998. The plan outlines the critical areas to be addressed during the next two years to meet the needs of our citizens. The County's mission, vision, values, goals and outcomes were developed collaboratively by the Board of Supervisors, citizens and staff. The Plan focuses on improving processes, enhancing service delivery, preserving natural resources and improving the quality of life for our citizens. Objectives and resource requirements reflect our priorities. The Strategic Management Plan* is aligned with the FY 2007-2008 Adopted Budget.
