Public Safety
The JCC Fire Department is a combination career and volunteer department providing full Fire protection and Emergency Medical Care service from five strategically located Fire Stations. The Fire Department consists of over 90 uniformed career staff, 30 non-uniformed employees and over 60 volunteers. The department is divided into five divisions: 1) Operations; 2) Support Services; 3) Administrative; 4) Emergency Communications; and 5) Emergency Management.

Personnel assigned to Operations Division work 24 hour shifts. The shift schedule is “7-21.” There are two-, three- and five-day breaks in each three-week work cycle. Shifts begin and end at 8 a.m. |
