Air Ejector Pump Station Replacements
In the 1970’s several small pumping stations were constructed in the County that used compressed air to convey sewage. These stations have performed very well over the years but are dated and nearing the end of their useful life. There are seven of these air ejector stations in the County, and these have been targeted for phased replacement over the next five to seven years. Designs have been completed to replace the air ejectors with more conventional pumping stations. The existing control buildings will be re-used but all of the electrical equipment will be removed and replaced.
