What we do!

Neighborhood Building - We can help your neighborhood:

 

Start or rejuvenate neighborhood, homeowner or condominium associations.

 

Educate board members on topics of interest.

 

Facilitate neighborhood strategic planning.

 

Facilitate a profile project. Neighborhood profiles are studies of a neighborhood’s composition to provide a better understanding of its strengths, challenges and opportunities.

 

Organize special neighborhood events and projects to bring people together and offer opportunities for neighborhood enrichment through matching grant programs.

 

Improve communications between neighbors by providing:

 

Neighborhood Planning - We can help your neighborhood:

 

Cultivate responsible leadership to develop skills to problem solve.

 

Increase awareness of community resources.

 

Link neighborhoods to neighborhoods.

 

Increase citizen awareness of County government and how to interface with decision makers in setting the public agenda for a true partnership in contributing to a quality community.

Maintain effective relationships with the Board of Supervisors, County administration, neighborhood associations, homeowners’ association, citizen groups, and the business community.

 

Foster new partnerships and collaborations with other neighborhood outreach programs, local government officials, community organizations, and local businesses from other localities to enhance networking opportunities regionally and statewide.
