Proposed FY 2011/2012 Budget – In his last budget as James City County Administrator, Sandy Wanner is proposing a 2.2 percent decrease from FY 2010. The proposed budget is now in the hands of the Board of Supervisors who will
meet during a series of work sessions to review each section. The budget is scheduled to be adopted by the Board on May 11. Budget work sessions are televised live on JCC TV48 and are streamed live and On Demand. The Proposed FY2011/2012 budget document is available on the County’s website. Project Lifesaver – The County Police Department and the Classic Cruisers Car Club will host the 2010 Project Lifesaver Car Show on May 15 at Warhill High School. Proceeds will be used to support Project Lifesaver – a program that provides a small radio transmitter to people who are in danger of wandering away from home and becoming lost as a result of autism, Alzheimer’s disease or other disorders.
