Board of Supervisors news – The JCC Board of Supervisors (BOS) re-elected Stonehouse District Supervisor Jim Kennedy as Chairman for 2010 at its Organizational Meeting on January 4. Berkeley District Supervisor Mary Jones was re-elected Vice Chairman.

New playground opens – My Place, a specially designed inclusive playground located adjacent to the JCWCC, is now open. My Place includes all the features of a traditional playground including swings, a merry-go-round and climbing equipment that accommodates children regardless of ability. The Leadership Historic Triangle Class of 2009 funded and built the playground as their class project. It was donated to James City County upon completion. Bundle up and check it out!
