Where to go for bond info – On November 2, County voters will be asked to vote on the following proposed bond referendum: “Shall James City County, Virginia, contract a debt and issue its general obligation bonds in a principal amount not to exceed $30,000,000 pursuant to the Public Finance Act of 1991, as amended, for the purpose of financing a portion of the cost of stormwater management projects?”

The County has set up a new webpage with information on stormwater management projects and general obligation bonds – jccEgov.com/stormwaterbond.

Comprehensive Plan2009 Comprehensive Plan copies available – Bound color copies of the 2009 James City County Comprehensive Plan and large color copies of the 2009 Land Use Map are now available for purchase – $35 for the Comprehensive Plan, $10 for the Map or $40 for both. They are available in the Planning Division office at 101-A Mounts Bay Road in the County Government Center.

A digital version of the Map and the full text of the 2009 Comprehensive Plan, are available free of charge online.
