Did you know? – For your convenience, JCSA provides a secure drop box for your water bill payments in the parking lot of Building E at the James City County Government Center, 101 Mounts Bay Rd.
When using the drop box, be sure to enclose your payment along with the appropriate portion of your bill in a sealed envelope - check or money order only, no cash or credit cards. Payments received by 8 a.m. Monday-Friday are posted that business day. For more information, call 757-253-6800.
Your input is needed – We want to hear from you during the Historic Triangle comprehensive plan update. Do you ever wonder where James City County ends and where Williamsburg or York County begins? Are you interested in learning about plans throughout the Historic Triangle?
James City County, the City of Williamsburg and York County are jointly reviewing their comprehensive plans and input from the community is needed. The localities will host four community forums in February and March to give you an opportunity to tell the locality your vision for the overall Historic Triangle and for specific geographical focus areas. Vote! - The General Registrar’s Office is open for In Person Absentee Voting for the Republican Party Presidential Primary Election. It will remain open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. through March 2, 2012. The Office will also be open on Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Voters can apply in person to vote absentee at the General Registrar’s Office or by sending a completed application by mail, fax or a scanned copy.
The deadline for applying to vote absentee by mail is 5 p.m., Feb. 28, 2012.The deadline for applying and casting your ballot in-person at the General Registrar’s Office is 5 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2012.
Ballots may be returned by mail or by a recognized courier such as UPS or FedEx. Only the voter may return the ballot by hand to the General Registrar. All ballots must be received by the General Registrar by 7 p.m. March 6.
