Steering Committee Begins Meeting November 18

The James City County Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee will begin meeting Monday, November 18, 4 p.m. in the Building C Board Room at the County Complex, 101 Mounts Bay Road. The Committee will meet every Monday, excluding holidays. Meetings are open to the public.
The Steering Committee (SC) -composed of four Planning Commission members, one Board of Supervisors member, and one Citizen Participation Team (CPT) member - will review technical reports and policy recommendations from staff as well as applications from landowners who wish to change the land use designation on their properties. This Committee will recommend the new Comprehensive Plan to the Planning Commission in spring 2003.
Steering Committee members include Planning Commission members George Billups; John Hagee; Joe McCleary; Peggy Wildman; Board of Supervisor member, Michael Brown; and, CPT member, Dr. Lisa Curry.
Steering Committee meetings are broadcast live on JCC TV 48 at 4 p.m. and rebroadcast the following Friday and Sunday at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
