Project Safety Forum planned in James City County

Home heating safety tips, avoiding winter health hazards and learning how to prevent falls in your home are among the valuable tips that residents may find out about at the Project Safety Forum on November 10. The forum will be held at the James City/Williamsburg Community Center, 5301 Longhill Road, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Local fire and police officials will provide information about staying safe during the holidays. Sentara Williamsburg Community Hospital, American Red Cross, Williamsburg James City County Community Action Agency, United Way and Historic Triangle Senior Center representatives will also have display tables with information and giveaways. A free continental breakfast is planned.
