James City County receives grant to assist Chickahominy Haven

James City County's Board of Supervisors is expected to appropriate $153,998 at its December 14 meeting to administer a federal hazard mitigation grant that will elevate three flood-vulnerable homes in Chickahominy Haven.
The grant is awarded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. It will be administered by the County's Emergency Management Coordinator.
