Lieutenant Stephen Rubino has been promoted to the rank of Major and will assume the position of Uniform Division Commander effective November 16, 2005.
Major Rubino has been with the department since 1987. He has an Associate's Degree in Police Science from Thomas Nelson Community College and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology from St Leo University. He is a graduate of the Virginia Forensic Science Academy. He has served as an Internal Affairs Investigator, Criminal Investigator, Sergeant and Lieutenant. He is the commander of the Department's SWAT Team.
Lieutenant Bradley Rinehimer has been promoted to the rank of Major and will assume the position of the Commander of the Administration/Community Services Division effective November 16, 2005.
Major Rinehimer has been with the department since 1995. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology from St. Leo University and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. He has served as a Field Training Officer, School Resource Officer, Community Services Officer, and has been supervising the Community Services Unit for the past 3 years. He also serves as an Internal Affairs Investigator and one of the Assistant Commanders of the Department's SWAT Team.
