WAT begins service to Mooretown Road

Williamsburg Area Transport (WAT) will begin bus service July 1 from the Williamsburg Transportation Center to area medical, shopping and employment opportunities along Mooretown Road.
The Tan Line route will run hourly to serve Bypass Road, Mooretown Road Corridor, parts of Rochambeau Drive, Lightfoot Road and Richmond Road from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. during peak season. The bus will stop at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Hospital, Home Depot, Lowe's, Wal-Mart and Great Wolf Lodge. Off peak season hours from Labor Day to Memorial Day are from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more details, see www.williamsburgtransport.com.
