Super Turf Saturday Returns for the Fourth Year

Williamsburg, VA - Learn how to get rid of pesky weeds, create the perfect landscape, and control those crazy critters that roam your yard at "Super Turf" Saturday on August 20, 2005. This event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the James City/Williamsburg Community Center located at 5301 Longhill Road in Williamsburg.
Attendees will participate in two morning and two afternoon educational workshops led by experts in the field (schedule is attached). Virginia Tech Professors will lead the morning modules, with topics ranging from "Weeds in Turf-Identification, Prevention and Cures" to "Fall Lawn Renovation." Local experts will lead the afternoon seminars where topics include "Controlling Moles, Voles and Critters" and "Sustainable Landscape Practices." A working lunch will be provided, and lawn care products and services will be exhibited.
