Remaining Documents Regarding Rural Lands Study Now Available for Viewing

The remaining documents regarding the Rural Lands Study are now available for viewing through the Rural Lands link on the County’s website at http://www.jccegov.com/: 

 

• "Draft Design Guidelines" illustrates some of the design objectives for cluster development. Conceptually approved by the Committee, these guidelines are intended to be refined as the ordinances are further developed.
• "Summary Concepts" is a compilation and restatement by the consultants of the critical concepts of the Committee's recommendations. It is intended to serve as a tool for discussion on what might be the building blocks of any new policies or ordinances.
• "Agenda” suggested by staff due to time constraints and objectives of the work session.

 

The Committee’s recommendations are scheduled to be discussed at a joint work session of the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors on May 23, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. in Building F of the James City County Government Complex, 101 Mounts Bay Road.
