Starting Sunday, November 23rd, Williamsburg Area Transport (WAT) will provide Sunday service expanding regional transit services in the Historic Triangle to seven days a week. The new Sunday service includes all WAT routes with the exception of the Surry Connector.
The Sunday service will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will run until 6:00 p.m., with the last bus leaving WAT hubs at 5:00 p.m. More information on scheduled bus stops is available online at www.williamsburgtransport.com.
”This will be the first time that the WAT system will offer Sunday service to their customers and the increased service should be an immediate benefit to our regional businesses and residents,” said Jodi Miller, Chairperson of the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA), which manages WAT.
