Want to see what your neighbors are saying?

By the end of April, over 300 individuals participated in the 2008 Comprehensive Plan update, Historic Past, Sustainable Future. Want to see what your neighbors are saying? Starting Friday, May 16 comments received can be viewed on www.jccplans.org or by calling the Planning Division at 253-6685.

We still want to hear from YOU! We realize that time is tight and it can be difficult to attend a public meeting, so we’ve brought the meeting to your computer to fit your schedule. The abbreviated on-demand Community Conversation can be viewed on www.jccplans.org. If you have a comment while you’re watching, call the hotline at 259-4990 or leave your input on http://www.jccegov.com/citizens/fillsurvey.php?sid=32.

Another option is to visit a Listening Station before the end of May or plan to attend the next round of Community Conversations in August.

The Comprehensive Plan is the County’s master plan for guiding future growth. Reviewed every 5 years, it is used to evaluate development proposals and guide the decisions of County departments. It covers all aspects of the community, including economic development, population growth, public facilities, parks and recreation, and transportation.
