James City County is updating the Comprehensive Plan and we need to hear from you. Make plans to attend the Community Conversations – the next stage of public input for Historic Past, Sustainable Future. The Community Conversations are opportunities to learn about the plan and provide input in small group settings.
Bring your opinions, your hot button issues, and your neighbors to one or more of the following meetings:

Additional opportunities for citizen feedback include Listening Stations, the web site at www.jccplans.org, the Comprehensive Plan hotline at 259-4990, and the availability of CPT speakers. For information on these, call the JCC Planning Division at 253-6685.
The Comprehensive Plan, the County’s master plan for guiding future growth, is reviewed every 5 years and is used to evaluate development proposals and guide the decisions of County departments. It covers all aspects of the community, including economic development, population growth, public facilities, parks and recreation, and transportation.
