Over 65 citizens have attended the first two Comprehensive Plan Community Conversations this month. These sessions provide an opportunity for citizens to learn about the Comprehensive Plan and provide input on hot topics and desires for the community. Don’t miss your chance to participate in the remaining two Conversations:

Thursday, April 17 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Warhill High School
Thursday, April 24 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. James River Elementary School

Still can’t make it? Go online www.jccplans.org; visit a Listening Station; call the hotline 259-4990; or attend the next round of Community Conversations in August.

The Comprehensive Plan is the County’s master plan for guiding future growth. Reviewed every 5 years, it is used to evaluate development proposals and guide the decisions of County departments. It covers all aspects of the community, including economic development, population growth, public facilities, parks and recreation, and transportation.
