County Pools Open

James City County’s outdoor pools will open Saturday, May 23, Memorial Day weekend. The pools are located at Chickahominy Riverfront Park, 1350 John Tyler Highway and at Upper County Park, 180 Leisure Road in Toano. The pools will be open weekends only through June 14, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. They’ll open daily beginning June 17 through September 7, Labor Day weekend, also at 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

 

Children age 5 and younger swim free! Resident swimming fees are $2 for youth and seniors age 55 and older and $3 for adults. Season passes are available!

 

And come discover Jamestown Beach Park, too! The park is located at 2217 Jamestown Road, across from Jamestown Settlement. The park features a small beach with a waterfront view plus lots of sun and sand!
