The James City County Planning Commission has scheduled an additional work session to discuss Historic Past, Sustainable Future, the draft Comprehensive Plan.
Monday, September 14
4 – 6 p.m.

Discussion of previous comments on final text sections
The meeting will be held at the County Government Complex, 101 Mounts Bay Road, in the Building F Work Session Room.
Adoption by the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors is anticipated at public hearings this fall. The draft plan and additional materials are available on www.jccplans.org and the work sessions are open to the public.
The meeting will be televised live on JCC TV48 and available on-demand on www.jccegov.com/jcctv48. The work session will be rebroadcast Fridays on Community Channel 46 at 8 a.m., 2 p.m., and 8 p.m.
The Comprehensive Plan is the County’s master plan for guiding future growth. Reviewed every five years, it is used to evaluate development proposals and guide the decisions of County departments. It covers all aspects of the community, including economic development, population growth, public facilities, parks and recreation, and transportation.
