WAT Buses to Run on Full Schedule on July Fourth

Williamsburg Area Transport (WAT) will extend its bus schedule to include holiday service on Saturday, July 4. All regular WAT buses will run a full schedule from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. The July 4th schedule includes the running of increased frequency buses every half-hour on the Gray, Blue, Orange, and Tan Lines from 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
According to Leon Sisco, WAT Operations Director, this change was made to accommodate the need of workers to get to and from work and to make it easier for celebrants to attend the various events planned for the Fourth of July national holiday throughout the Greater Williamsburg Area
