James City County to Begin Bulk Trash Pick Up

Beginning October 19, James City County will offer pre-paid bulk trash pick up for County residents for $75.
Acceptable items include appliances, furniture, construction debris and yard waste such as brush, grass, leaves and tree trunks less than 24 inches in diameter and three feet in length.
Request forms are available at the Treasurer’s Office, Satellite Office, all County fire stations or online at www.jccEgov.com/bulkpickup. Upon receipt of payment, the resident will be contacted to schedule a service appointment. A County vehicle will pick up the items between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Materials must be roadside or curbside by 8 a.m. on the day of the appointment.
No hazardous, commercial or business waste will be accepted.
