James City County Police Department Seeks Grant Funding Under the Recovery Act

The James City County Police Department is seeking funding for enhancing law enforcement programs through the Recovery Act: Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Formula Program: Local Solicitation. This project is proposed in coordination with the Recovery Act: Cops Hiring Recovery Program (CHRP) grant project application submitted in April 2009. The police department plans to use the JAG funds to make purchases of vehicles and/or equipment not covered by the CHRP grant.
