James City County has activated the Emergency Operations Center in response to the local weather conditions.
The Citizen Inquiry Line at 564-2140 is available to answer questions.
The Before and After School Program has been cancelled.
No evacuation order has been issued, but citizens who live in low lying areas prone to flooding should be alert and be prepared to take action if needed – particularly those in Landfall at Jamestown, Powhatan Shores, Pelegs Point, Jamestown 1607, Page Landing and Chickahominy Haven.
