2010 Neighborhood Beautification $500 Matching Grant

James City County neighborhoods and homeowner associations have until March 31 to apply for one of ten $500 awards through the 2010 Neighborhood Beautification Matching Grant Program. The Program, sponsored by the James City Clean County Commission, enhances the sense of community through neighborhood involvement in the development and accomplishment of a neighborhood project. Categories are Physical Improvement/Beautification and Multi-Neighborhood Project Partnerships. The $500 grants will be awarded in spring 2010. The grant is made possible by the VA Department of Environmental Quality Litter Prevention and Recycling Grants Program. The application is available on the James City County website at www.jccEgov.com/recycling
