Planning Commission Policy Committee schedules June 7 meeting

The Planning Commission Policy Committee will meet Tuesday, June 7 at 7 p.m. to discuss the following topics:
Stage II Zoning Ordinance update draft changes:
- Cumulative impacts of development, including an update on progress to develop a database to track new commercial and residential units as they move through approvals and construction.
- Development standards, including floodplain overlay, timbering, and pedestrian accommodations
- Commercial districts, including Business Climate Task Force suggestions, commercial special use permit triggers, and permitted and specially permitted uses.

The meeting will be held in Building A of the James City County Government Center, 101 Mounts Bay Road. Members of the public, organizations, businesses and other interested parties are invited to attend and opportunities for comment will be available. If you are unable to attend, comments can be submitted online by visiting http://www.jccegov.com/citizens/fillsurvey.php?sid=6.
