Purpose

The purpose of the public forum is to two-fold.  First, it is to explain how the Technical Committee’s proposed changes to residential development in the Rural Lands will affect land and development patterns, growth, density, and the overall character of the community.  Second, it provides an early opportunity for citizens, landowners, and developers to give feedback to the committee before the draft narrative ordinance is finalized.

Materials

The public forum will focus on reviewing the draft narrative ordinance.  The new amendments propose four different development options.  These documents described below will be posted and available for viewing the week prior to the public forum.
