General Information
Parking Violations
Any parking ticket issued by a James City County Police Officer may be paid at the Treasurer's Office or at the JCC Satellite Office. Check or money orders are accepted forms of payment. The ticket MUST be paid within five business days of receipt. If the ticket is not paid the fine will double and a summons will be issued.
Fines can be paid at the Treasurer's Office, Building B, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. or mailed to P.O. Box 8701, Williamsburg, VA 23187. When making payment by mail, the parking ticket or a copy of the ticket should be enclosed along with your check or money order. You may also pay online: www.jamescitycountyva.gov/epayment.

Moving Violations
Moving violations such as speeding tickets can be paid at the General District Court Office, 5201 Monticello Ave., Williamsburg, VA 23188, between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. To access the 24-hour prerecorded message that gives information on fines that can be paid before court dates, call 757-229-4771. Firearm Permits
Firearms: concealed weapons, register with the Williamsburg/James City County Sheriff's Department located at the courthouse, 757-564-2220.

Parking Permits
James City County does not issue parking permits at this time; the City of Wiliamsburg does have parking restrictions. More>>
Magistrates
The magistrates are located at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail on Route 143 near the Naval Weapons Station. They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can reach them by phone for more information, 757-820-3905.

Warrants
A warrant is a legal document issued by a judge, a clerk of any court, or a magistrate based upon Probable Cause. Please call the Crime Line 757-253-8677 if you have information on wanted people.
