Purchasing Office
The Purchasing Office manages all County procurement activity to provide taxpayers with maximum value, secure high quality goods and services at reasonable cost, guarantee that all purchasing actions are conducted in a fair manner and allow all qualified vendors access to County business.
The Purchasing Office uses eVA, the Commonwealth of Virginia’s electronic procurement portal for solicitation distribution. Registration on the eVA website is step one in doing business in James City County and over 663 other local governments and state agencies in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
