Purchasing
The Purchasing Office manages all County procurement activity to achieve a number of goals. These goals include providing taxpayers with maximum value for their dollars, securing high quality goods and services at reasonable cost, guaranteeing that all purchasing actions be conducted in a fair manner and allowing all qualified vendors to have access to County business.
The Purchasing Office maintains a list of vendors categorized by commodity code. Placement on the vendor list does not guarantee receipt of a request for quotation, invitation to bid, or request for proposal. It is the vendor's responsibility to check the public notices of available solicitations posted by the Purchasing Office.
