Rec Connect Information

 

 

REC Connect is a summer camp and before- and after-school program for school age children offered by James City County’s Division of Parks and Recreation.  For more information, click on the Parent Handbook button below.  To register your child for a REC Connect program, click on the blue registration button.

 

 

Summer Camps (2012)

 

Ages: 5-14 (must have completed kindergarten)

Location: Elementary: Clara Byrd Baker, J. Blaine Blayton, Norge, Rawls Byrd and Stonehouse. Middle School: Berkeley


Dates:* Monday, June 18, 2012 - Friday, August 24, 2012

Hours of Operation:  Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Before- and After-School Program (2011-2012 school year)

 

Ages: Elementary school: grades K-5


Middle School: grades 6-8 (participants must have completed 5th grade)


Location:
Before- and After-School Programs are offered at all elementary schools.  The After-School Program is offered at Berkeley. Toano and Lois B. Hornsby students are transported to Berkeley.

 

Dates:* September 2011 (school start)- June 2012 (school end)


Hours of Operation:
(subject to change)


Elementary Before-School Program: 7 a.m. - school start
Middle and Elementary After-School Programs: school dismissal until 6 p.m.  Programs are offered on both half days and full teacher workdays.
