Community Centers
James City County has two state-of-the-art community centers open to all citizens, James City/Williamsburg Community Center (JCWCC) on
Longhill Road
and James River Community Center (JRCC) in Grove. Both centers offer local residents the opportunity for exercise, cultural events, and classes. The JCWCC is an award winning 85,000-square foot facility "Community Living Room" for our residents. A Partnership with the Williamsburg-James City County schools under a joint facility use program enabled the construction of the JRCC at James River Elementary School, which has a shared gymnasium and playground, cardio center, racquetball, and multipurpose rooms.
