Skate Park
5301 Longhill Road Williamsburg, VA 23188
Located next to the James City/Williamsburg Community Center, the James City County Skate Parkis 10,000 square feet of concrete jumps and ramps. Only skateboards and in-line skates are permitted in the park. We recommend children under 12 years of age be accompanied by an adult. Helmets and protective are recommended for your protection. Spectators are not permitted inside fenced area. Hours of operation are from sunrise to sunset daily. Park will close in the event of inclement weather.
Operational Hours
The James City County Skate Park will be open daily from 7 a.m. and will close 30 minutes before dusk. It will remain open year round, with weather dictating operating hours. Staff will be coming by throughout the day to monitor the area for trash and behavioral problems.
Rules and Regulations
- Only Skateboards and in-line skates permitted.
- This facility is used by experienced and inexperienced skateboarders and in-line skaters. Serious injury may result from colliding with other users, falling on the concrete surface and flying objects. James City County does not assume responsibility for injuries. USE OF FACILITY IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
- We recommend children under 12 years of age be accompanied by an adult 16 years or older.
- Helmets and protective gear (wrist guards, elbow and kneepads) are recommended for your protection.
- Spectators are not permitted inside the fenced area.
- James City County Parks and Recreation reserves the right to change the hours of operation as necessary and close the park in the event of inclement weather.
- Smoking is not permitted within the skating area (includes all fenced areas).
- Food and drinks are not permitted inside the fenced area.
- James City County Parks and Recreation is not responsible for lost and stolen items.
- No bicycles or motorized vehicles are allowed.
- No soliciting or unauthorized sales are allowed on James City County property.
- No alcohol or controlled substances are allowed on James City County property.
- After hours use will result in a trespassing citation and possible suspension from facility.
WARNING: Skateboarding and in-line skating can be hazardous recreational activities which may result in death, paralysis, brain damage, broken bones, or other serious injuries. Use this facility at your own risk.
We encourage a healthy and clean community. Please help us keep our park clean by putting litter in trash containers. James City County Parks and Recreation encourages all citizens to wash hands after use of facilities and equipment.
