The County is a partner of the Virginia Capital Trail, a regional 55-mile multiuse trail connecting all the state capitals of Virginia’s history: Jamestown, Williamsburg and Richmond.  Segments of the trail, including 7.5 miles within James City County have been completed, and other sections are currently under construction.  A new trailhead is located at the Jamestown entrance and includes an electronic kiosk, benches and bike racks.  Additional access points include Jamestown High School and Chickahominy Riverfront Park.   Check the Virginia Capital Trail website, www.virginiacapitaltrail.org for news and more.
