Chemical Disposal
James City and Williamsburg collections will be held in conjunction with the household chemical collection events.

Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator (CESQG)
The collections will be held in conjunction with the Household Chemical collections (all dates and times are the same). A CESQ is a small business that generates no more than 27 gallons or 220 lbs. of hazardous waste in a one month period or 2.2 lbs of acutely hazardous waste.
- The business must call VPPSA for the initial screening.
- Estimate of waste to be disposed.
- Chemical or trade name of waste, size, type, and number of containers for disposal.

All materials will be weighted on site and at that time a check will be made payable to the vendor, Clean Harbors Environmental Services not VPPSA for disposal.
