Stormwater Service Fee Credit Program

The Stormwater Service Fee Credit Program recognizes property owners for their contributions towards meeting the goals of the County’s stormwater management program by reducing the owner’s fee assessment. The credit is an inducement to property owners to improve water quality conditions on their property and to keep their stormwater facilities suitably maintained. Such actions reduce costs to the County for stormwater management and benefit all County property owners and residents.

The purpose of the Stormwater Service Fee Credit Manual is to ensure that the credit program is implemented in a consistent and fair manner by setting forth the procedures and requirements for eligible property owners to obtain a credit against the assessed stormwater service fee.

Businesses, industries, nonprofit organizations and owners associations may be eligible for a credit or partial rebate on already paid fees as well as a reduction in the stormwater service fee that is due in June 2008.
