Decal Information

As of July 1, 2007, the County no longer issues decals as part of the vehicle registration process. Citizens may now scrape the old decal off their windshield.

Citizens will no longer be required to register vehicles with the Commissioner of the Reveune. Citizens wishing to register with the Commissioner at the Kingsmill Government Center or at the Satellite Services office in Toano will still be welcome.

Citizens will be assessed a one time $10.00 registration fee which will appear on the first personal property tax billing of the newly registered vehicle. Because of the elimination of the decal, citizens will no longer receive a $5.00 discount if they scrape and bring in the old decal.
